Used and unwanted electronic equipment represents one of the fastest growing waste streams in the world. An estimated 70% of heavy metals in landfills are from discarded e-waste. These items contain a variety of toxic materials such as lead, cadmium, mercury, hexavalent chromium, PVC plastics, and brominated flame retardants. When disposed of in a landfill, these materials can contaminate the soil and groundwater. Don’t contaminate the environment - recycle your e-waste the right way.

Remember: Abandonment of e-waste constitutes illegal disposal of hazardous waste.

    Never dump, always recycle!
