How to Start City Utility Service
Same day water service turn-ons must be received by 12:00 PM (noon)
Solid waste container deliveries will be next service day

How to Discontinue, Transfer, or Change Utility Services
Visit the Finance Department at 206 East Cook Street between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday and Alternating Fridays 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. to discontinue, transfer, or change utility services. Your utility customer account number is required to complete these transactions. You can also discontinue service online.
Utility Billing Notifications by Telephone
As of July, 2010, the City began using telephone notification to provide information about late utility bill payments. If your contact information has changed, please send an email to Utility Billing Update Notification and provide your name, address, account number, and telephone number at which you can be reached. You may receive a return phone call verifying your request. For more information, feel free to contact the Utilities Department at 925-0951 extension 7270.
Water Rates
The City's water rates are updated at least once a year. Please follow the link below to the City's most recent water rates.
Third-Party Payment Services
The City suggests that customers using a third party electronic payment service (on-line banking or merchant services) pay their bills 10 days in advance of the due date. If these services do not remit payments to the City before the final due date, customers will be responsible for late payment charges.
