The City of Santa Maria was awarded Active Transportation Program Cycle 6 funds to construct bike paths, bike lanes, and improve crossings along the Fesler and Jones Street corridors, with connections to Downtown Santa Maria and schools along these corridors. The project is currently in the Project Approval and Environmental Document (PA&ED) Phase of development. This phase is anticipated to be completed by July 2025. Part of this phase will include further public comment and engagement as part of the Environmental Document preparation.
