The budget establishes the City’s priorities and goals. The City uses a two-year financial plan, which emphasizes long-range planning and effective program management. The City Council adopts a two-year budget that consists of two, one-year budgets. Near the end of the first budget year, a mid-cycle budget review is conducted and proposed amendments for the second year are presented for City Council consideration. The City’s fiscal year begins July 1st and ends June 30th.
