Overflow parking will be available at the parking structure at Town Center East by Macy’s, with access across the Broadway pedestrian bridge. The Downtown Trolley will be circulating on a 15 minute loop from 4:30 pm to 8:30 pm from the parking structure and event area.
The event is a partnership among the City and local event promoter and radio personality Ed Carcarey and local news media owner and event promoter Sofia Lariz. Downtown Fridays is a direct result and outgrowth of the City’s Downtown Specific Plan, a strategy formulated and approved by City leaders to pump new life into Santa Maria’s downtown core.
If you are interested in participating in the event as a vendor, performance, or musical guest please note there is currently a wait list. All food vendors will need permits through the County of Santa Barbara Health Department and be an already established business.
