The Santa Maria Public Library offers three meeting rooms available for rent including Shepard Hall (capacity 120), the Learning Center (capacity 75) , and the Nelson Conference Room (capacity 14). Shepard Hall is located just off the lobby of the Santa Maria Public Library. This popular, pleasantly illuminated large room is used for numerous meetings, and features monthly art exhibitions by local and regional artists. The Learning Center is located on the first floor inside the library and the Nelson Conference Room is located in Library Administration on the second floor. Six study rooms accommodate small groups up to eight people and are offered for free use on a first come first served basis on the second floor of the library. The Santa Maria Public Library is committed to supporting our community by providing designated display cases to non-profit organizations engaged in educational, cultural, intellectual or charitable activities, and to individuals who wish to display in an attractive and informative manner, collections, memorabilia, crafts, art objects, and other collectibles.
