The Special Projects Division serves as the lead agency in the development of the ANNUAL ACTION PLAN which is the annual update to the City's CONSOLIDATED PLAN. The ANNUAL ACTION PLAN outlines the resources anticipated to be available and specifies the activities proposed to be undertaken during the fiscal year which covers the time period of July 1st through June 30th of each year. Resources and activities are selected specifically to address the priority needs outlined in the Strategic Plan. The City attempts to address each affordable housing, homeless and non-housing priority need through the implementation of City services and programs and/or the formation of partnerships with other governmental jurisdictions and non-profit organizations.
The Special Projects Division also develops the CONSOLIDATED ANNUAL PERFORMANCE & EVALUATION REPORT (CAPER) annually to serve as an update for the past year's activities. The CAPER outlines the resources used and activity outcomes for the previous fiscal year which covers the time period of July 1st through June 30th. Resources and activities match the priority needs outlined in the Strategic Plan and correspond with the previous year's ANNUAL ACTION PLAN. Any changes made in the ANNUAL ACTION PLAN throughout the year are clearly outlined in the CAPER, along with the reason(s).
Copies of the ANNUAL ACTION PLAN for prior fiscal years and the CAPER for prior fiscal years are on file for public review and examination at the Special Projects Division office, 110 South Pine Street, Room 107. Interested persons may obtain their own copy of the documents at the Special Projects Division office, within three days after the request is received.
