This section of the Building and Safety Division is responsible for review and approval of building permit plans. Through technical plan review staff helps to ensure the plans and the project will comply with Building Codes and Local Building Ordinances.

The Building Division enforces the minimum standards found in the various model codes adopted by the State of California through the Building Standards Commission and as adopted and amended by our City Council. Effective January 1, 2017 these include, but are not limited to;
