Wine Making Class at the Library
Ever thought about making wine at home? The City of Santa Maria Public Library is pleased to announce a partnership with the Central Coast Home Vintner’s Association to present a new program called “Wine Making.”
The program will be held Saturday, July 21st from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. in Shepard Hall. The Central Coast Home Vintner’s Association will review all of the steps in the home wine making process, from equipment selection, grape sourcing to fermentation, pressing, and bottling.
Sign-up with staff at the Library’s second-floor information desk. This event is free but sign-up is required. Participants must be 21 and over to attend. No alcohol will be served.
The Library’s hours are 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday, and 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Friday and Saturday. The Library is closed on Sunday. The Library is located at 421 South McClelland Street.
