Concerts and Movies in the Park


The City of Santa Maria Recreation and Parks Department and People for Leisure And Youth, Inc. (PLAY, Inc.) are pleased to announce the return of the free summer Concerts and Movies in the Park series.


The 15th annual Concerts in the Park series will feature live performances from local bands on select Sundays throughout the summer. All concerts will be held from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. at Rotary Centennial Park, 2625 South College Drive. The lineup is as follows: 

  • June 10th: Dylan Ortega with an opening performance by Karen Sweeney
  • June 24th: Drive-in Romeos
  • July 8th: Crisptones
  • July 22nd: Unfinished Business
  • August 5th: The Band August
  • September 9th: Steppin’ Out



The 5th annual Movies in the Park series presents a different family-friendly movie in a City park every other Saturday. All movies will begin at dusk.   The lineup is as follows: 

  • June 23rd: Back to the Future

    Bob Orach Park,

  • July 7th: Star Wars: The Last Jedi Preisker Park,

    330 Hidden Pines Way


  • July 21st: Grease, Sierra Vista Park, 809 Panther Drive
  • August 4th: Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Mean Tell No Tales

    Paul Nelson Aquatic Center,

    600 South McClelland Street


  • August 18th: Black Panther


Rotary Centennial Park,

2625 South College Drive
