Mental Health Resource Fair at the City of Santa Maria Public Library
The City of Santa Maria Public Library is sponsoring a Mental Health Resource Fair on Saturday, May 19th from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., in Lavagnino Plaza (just outside the Public Library). Many community agencies will be participating and providing information at this free event. The public is invited to attend.
Local mental health professionals will offer information on a variety of topics, including mental health, community resources, wellness, and recovery. Organizers will also offer several stress-relieving activities. The event’s primary goal is to provide education to the community about services that are available for those affected by mental illness and addiction.
This project is supported by the U.S. Institute of Museum and Library Services under the provisions of the Library Services and Technology Act, administered in California by the State Library.
The Public Library’s hours are 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., Mondays through Thursdays, and 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Fridays and Saturdays. The Library is closed on Sundays.
