Crisis Preparation Workshop


 The City of Santa Maria Public Library is pleased to announce an important community workshop on Crisis Preparation on Saturday, March 17th from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. in the Library’s Shepard Hall.  The guest speaker and facilitator of this free workshop is The City’s Emergency Services Specialist, Roy Dugger. 


This program on general crisis preparation is being offered in conjunction with the collection of new crisis-related books and materials available at the City’s Library, funded through a grant from the California State Library. 


Seating is limited and offered on a first come, first serve basis.  Patrons are encouraged to arrive early to secure a seat and to browse the free materials available during this important event.


The Library’s hours are 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday, and 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Friday and Saturday. The Library is closed on Sunday. The Library is located at 421 S. McClelland Street.
