Movie Night at the Library on February 12th

The City of Santa Maria Public Library is pleased to show the movie A Dog’s Purpose (2017), which is rated PG. The film will be screened on Monday, February 12th at 5:00 p.m. in Shepard Hall. This event is free and no tickets are required.

A devoted dog (Josh Gad) discovers the meaning of its own existence through the lives of the humans it teaches to laugh and love. Reincarnated as multiple canines over the course of five decades, the lovable pooch develops an unbreakable bond with a kindred spirit named Ethan (Bryce Gheisar). As the boy grows older and comes to a crossroad, the dog once again comes back into Ethan’s life to remind him of his true self.

Seating is limited and is offered on a first come, first served basis. Freshly popped popcorn will also be served free of charge.
