Makerspace Fair on Saturday, December 9th


The Santa Maria Public Library is pleased to offer a special holiday-themed Maker Fair on Saturday, December 9, 2017 from 10:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m.  Makers of all levels and all ages are encouraged to attend. Supplies will be provided and a large variety of exciting and holiday themed maker projects will be available to create and explore. Projects will be offered in Shepard Hall and in the Learning Center in the Library.


The Santa Maria Public Library Makerspace program is offered in collaboration with Allan Hancock College and the Discovery Museum.  Funding for the program is provided through a grant awarded to Allan Hancock College from the California Community Colleges Chancellor’s Office. 


The library’s hours are 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday, and 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Friday and Saturday. The Library is closed on Sunday. The Santa Maria Public Library is located at 421 South McClelland Street, Santa Maria California.
