Security Deposit Assistance Continues to be offered in the City

 

The Tenant Based Rental Assistance (TBRA) Program continues to be offered in the City of Santa Maria.  TBRA provides security deposit assistance through Qualified Referring Agencies (QRA) to low-income households.  The assistance is in the form of a grant for up to 100 percent of the total security deposit amount to assist with overcoming obstacles in obtaining permanent housing.

 

To access the program, participants must apply for assistance through a Qualified Referring Agency (QRA).  Eligible participants are individuals whose income is at 60 percent or less of the area median income by household size as determined by the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) below:
