New Look for City’s Solid Waste Collection Trucks

The City of Santa Maria Utilities Department is proud to unveil a bright new look for its fleet of 22 solid waste collections trucks. They now sport a new Santa Maria-themed decal, or wrap, on each side of the vehicle. These bright and colorful wraps display the slogan, “Teaming with You to Keep Santa Maria Clean.” This highlights the City’s commitment to working with the community to enhance the quality of life. For easy identification, the City has also affixed large vehicle numbers to the rear of the trucks.

In addition, the Utilities Department remind customers to place all trash containers curbside by 6:30 a.m. on collection day, and to place containers at least five feet apart. Questions may be directed to the Utilities Department at (805) 925-0951 ext. 7270.
