Library Unveils After School Homework Help Program
Need Homework help? Beginning Wednesday, January 20th, the Santa Maria Public Library will begin free After School Homework Help for grades K-6. This program will be available Monday through Thursday from 3:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at the Main Library in the Homework Center on the first floor.
Elementary school students will be assisted by volunteer tutors in completing homework assignments, or practicing skills for improved mastery. Participating students will also have access to computers, study aids, and databases facilitated by Library tutors. Come to the Library to see how this exciting new program can enrich your student’s learning.
The Public Library is located at 421 S. McClelland Street, Santa Maria.
This program is provided with funding assistance through the Santa Maria Library Foundation.
