 2024 Wedding and Special Event Expo

The City of Santa Maria Recreation and Parks Department and PLAY, Inc. will host a showcase of local vendors who provide services for weddings, quinceañeras, birthday/anniversary parties, class reunions, and other special events. The Expo will be held on Saturday, April 20^th from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Veterans’ Memorial Community Center located at 313 West Tunnell Street in Santa Maria.

The Expo will feature displays from florists, photographers, DJs, venue managers, event planners, caterers, balloon artists, and other businesses that help create memorable occasions no matter what type of celebration is envisioned. Having dozens of vendors in one place helps potential customers compare services and saves time by having them all in one place.

Admission is $5.00 per person if paid in advance and $10 at the door. The first 50 guests will receive a free welcome bag containing useful items for the day of the special event.  Tickets are conveniently available online at https://bit.ly/weddingquinceexpo.

This event will benefit the People for Leisure and Youth, Inc., the non-profit organization that supports the work of the Recreation and Parks Department. PLAY, Inc. uses the proceeds to offer free recreation programs throughout the City of Santa Maria.
