November Valley Reads Book Club
The City of Santa Maria Public Library is pleased to announce a special session of the Valley Reads Book Club in honor of Veterans Day. The meeting will be held Saturday, November 12th at 2:00 p.m. in the Nelson Room. The Library is located at 421 South McClelland Street.
The book club will discuss A Farewell to Arms by Ernest Hemingway. The novel was inspired by Hemingway’s real-life service in World War I as a volunteer ambulance driver with the American Red Cross.
