Succulent Exchange and a Craftworks Succulent Book Craft

The City of Santa Maria Public Library is pleased to announce a succulent exchange on Saturday, September 17th from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. in the Lavagnino Plaza, located at 421 South McClelland Street. Please bring pest free clippings of favorite succulents to trade and share with other succulent lovers. This is an excellent opportunity to share information and succulent tips with others who share this passion.

Succulents are an eco-friendly and water-smart gardening concept. Succulents are easy to grow and require minimal watering and maintenance. As a bonus, they come in a variety of colors, shapes, and sizes to fit into people’s busy lifestyles.

Immediately following the succulent exchange, Library staff will present a succulent book craft from 12:30 to 2:00 p.m. in Shepard Hall. These events are free and open to all ages. All materials will be provided. For more information, visit the Library’s website at
