The City of Santa Maria Recreation and Parks Department is offering creative activities for youth ages 6 through 12, each Wednesday in May at the Minami Community Center, located at 600 West Enos Drive. The free program, May to Create, will take place from 4:00 to 5:00 p.m.

The participants will craft models of their favorite Star Wars characters, lightsabers, and vessels on Wednesday, May 4^th, plan a special surprise for their mothers on May 11^th, build and race toy cars on May 18^th, and play with slime and stress balls on May 25^th.

Pre-registration is required for the May to Create sessions, as space and supplies are limited. There is no cost to the participants.
