Digital Literacy Skills Workshop
The City of Santa Maria Public Library will host a free workshop on digital literacy skills. The workshop will be held Saturday, April 9th from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. in the Library’s Shepard Hall, located at 421 South McClelland Street.
Library staff will teach patrons how to use the Northstar Digital Literacy Program to learn basic skills needed to perform tasks on computers and online. Participants will gain hands-on experience in basic computer skills, navigating the internet, using e-mail, and the Windows operating system. All participants will receive a copy of the book True or False: A CIA Analyst's Guide to Spotting Fake News by Cindy Otis.
