Services during Closures

Customer Service Options while City Hall and other Facilities Closed
Many customer services are available online or by phone while Santa Maria City Hall and the Utilities Department now join other City facilities closed to the public due to the State’s shelter at home order due to the COVID-19 outbreak.
Customers seeking to pay City utility bills are asked to use online bill pay at www.cityofsantamariapayments.com, or the utility payment drop box located in the lower level of the Civic Center parking structure, or call (805) 925-0951 extension 2217 (English) or extension 2218 (Spanish). Envelopes for utility payments remain available at the drop box at the front doors of City Hall. Customers have a new option: call to make an appointment to the new walk-up customer window at the City’s Public Library next to City Hall.
To stay updated on all City operations of facilities, customers are advised to go the City website at www.cityofsantamaria.org/coronavirus and to stay connected at https://twitter.com/City_SantaMaria.
While City facilities are closed to the public, it is important to know that City staff are working remotely, or at facilities, and most are available by e-mail or phone.
The City encourages all community members to Stay Safe and Stay Home following the Governor’s March 19th executive order, an effort to preserve the public health and to ensure the healthcare delivery system is capable of serving all while prioritizing those at the highest risk and vulnerability.
