Movie Night at the Library on February 17th

        

 

The City of Santa Maria Public Library is pleased to show the movie Blackkklansman (2018) which is rated R for language and violence. The film will be screened on Monday, February 17th at 3:00 p.m. in Shepard Hall. This event is free and no tickets are required.

 

Ron Stallworth, an African-American police officer from Colorado Springs, CO., successfully manages to infiltrate the local Ku Klux Klan branch with the help of a Jewish surrogate who eventually becomes its leader. The film is based on actual events.

 

Seating is limited and is offered on a first come, first served basis. Freshly popped popcorn will also be served free of charge.

 

The Library’s hours are 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Sunday. The Library is located at 421 South McClelland Street.
