Town Center Gallery to Showcase
Local Art at the Santa Maria Public Library
The Santa Maria Public Library will be displaying artwork from the Town Center Gallery beginning Thursday, April 2nd, 2015 in Shepard Hall. The exhibit’s theme, “A Community of Artists” will feature works from members of the Town Center Gallery, most of whom reside in the Santa Maria Valley. Each member will be invited to submit one or two pieces of recent artwork to share with the community. Medias include painting, drawing, printmaking, mixed media, and photography. The show will consist of various works from at least 15 different gallery artists.
The Town Center Gallery is a non-profit art gallery that originated through the support of the Santa Maria Recreation & Parks Department and is currently exhibiting bi-monthly at the Santa Maria Airport. An artist reception will be held on Thursday, April 9th, 2015 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in Shepard Hall.
