Succulent Exchange at the Library

The City of Santa Maria Public Library is pleased to announce a succulent plant exchange on Tuesday, October 16th, from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m.  The succulent exchange will be presented in Shepard Hall, located on the first floor of the Library. This event is free and open to all ages.

Please bring pest-free clippings of your favorite succulents to trade and share with other succulent lovers. This is an excellent opportunity to share information and succulent tips with others who share this passion.

Succulents are an eco-friendly and water-smart gardening concept. Succulents are not only easy to grow, but require minimal watering and maintenance. As an added bonus they come in a variety of colors, shapes and sizes to fit into people’s busy lifestyles.

The Library’s hours are 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday, and 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Friday and Saturday. The Library is closed on Sunday. The Library is located at 421 S. McClelland Street.

Questions may be directed to the Public Library’s Information Desk, (805) 925-0994 extension 8562.

This event is sponsored by the Friends of the Santa Maria Public Library.
