BID PROPOSALS & BID RESULTS

We appreciate your interest in doing business with the City of Santa Maria. City staff strives to contract in an open, competitive and fair manner, to secure maximum value for public funds.

Competitive bids are not subject to negotiations. Awards are made to the lowest responsible bidder meeting specifications.

Please read all bid and proposal forms carefully. Notices inviting bidders are project-specific. The City explicitly explains each detail required to meet minimum specifications. Please be sure you can comply with all the requirements before bidding. If the material is unclear or other complications arise, contact the City as soon as possible; do not wait until the date of the bid opening.

Contractors are advised that the competitive nature of their bids could be affected if their submissions do not include all addenda (if applicable). It is the contractor's responsibility to carefully and frequently review all solicitations and any addenda to which they may respond. View the City's website disclaimer.
