BOARD OF APPEALS |

Duties: Hears appeals to decisions of City Building Official and makes recommendations regarding Uniform Building Code provisions.
Membership: Seven members appointed by the Mayor and confirmed by the City Council, including two special purpose members. Special purpose members shall be physically handicapped as defined in Section 2.4117(l), Title 24, Part 2 of the California Administrative Code. Term is unspecified. Qualification is based upon experience and training in the building trades.
Meeting Schedule: Meets on call in the Community Development Department Conference Room.
